Hello,

seeing that Majordomo runs on Linux, I was wondering if it could run on Raspberry also? Can it communicate with wireless devices (Ciseco, LightwaveRF, Zwave...).

In praticulra I am interested in interfacing home automation with RF devices from Ciseco.

Thank you for your answer.

Regards,
Ales

PS: great work, anyway

Hi,

Yes, it can run on Raspberry but as it uses database pretty extensive it would be better to have some external disk drive connected, at least for MySQL storage as flash drive is not reliable with so many read-write cycles.

As for Ciseco, well, I would say if you can work with it from Linux/Raspberry then you will definetely be able to integrate it into MajorDoMo interface and logic.

Anyway, feel free to ask any questions -- you are very welcome!
